Chongqing to Lhasa Air Route Is to Open

Sichuan Airline will open a daily new service from Chongqing in Southwest China to Lhasa the capital city of Tibet on 26, July.

The service is expected to begin with the following schedules:

Chongqing-Lhasa -Flight: departing from Chongqing at 11:00 am and arriving in Lhasa around one and half hours later at 13:30.

Lhasa-Chongqing-Flight: leaving Lhasa at 14:10 pm and reaching Chongqing at 16:20 pm.

The airline opened a route to Lhasa from Chengdu last August and has operated A319 aircraft on the route. The A319 is affectionately known as the Altiplano Princess for its suitability for highland flying. The Airline has earned high reputation for its high quality of service on the Chengdu-Lhasa route. Sichuan Airlines will also use the A319 for the new route.
