Tour Details
Your guide will meet you at the arrival hall of the airport. Then go to visit Durbar Square, which lies in the heart of Kathmandu. Locally also called as Hanuman Dhoka Palace Square-an ancient seat of the Nepalese Royalty. Most of the buildings seen here date from 15th to 18th century.

Firstly, we will visit the Swoyambhunath Stupa. It is a golden opportunity for you to get splendid view of Kathmandu Valley and the excellent panorama of the north eastern Himalayan range. Then visit Boudhanath Stupa that is the largest stupa in Nepal and the holiest Tibetan Buddhist temple outside Tibet. It is the center of Tibetan culture in Kathmandu and rich in Buddhist symbolism. After lunch, move on to Pashupatinath Temple. With its astonishing architectural beauty, it stands as a symbol of faith, religion, culture and tradition.

Fly to Lasha and have free time to relax.

After breakfast, we will go to visit Potala Palace, winter palace of the Dalai Lama, considered to be the dwelling place of the Bodhisattva Chenresi (Avilokiteshvara). Then visit Sera Monastery which located in the northern suburbs of Lhasa. It is here that the monks "famous daily debates" take place. After lunch, move on to Jokhang Temple, which is smaller than the Potala Palace and at the heart of a rich and living Tibetan Buddhism. Then Join the locals to shop for local goods, or relax in a coffee shop to enjoy the passing parade in the Barkhor Street.

Yomdrok Lake
Today we will go to visit Yamdrok Lake, which has the greatest energy station within the planet, and is also the largest habitat for water birds in Tibet. After have Chinese Lunch at Local Restaurant, move on to Tashilunpo Monastery, the second most important spiritual leader of Tibet, was founded in 1447 by Gyalwa Gendun Drup (1st Dalai Lama) and is a historically and culturally important monastery.

The Palgor Chorten
After breakfast, start our trip to visit the Palgor Chorten (Palkhor Monastery) that is a kind of typical Tibetan Buddhism monastery architecture combined stupa and temple, with temples in the stupa, stupas in the temple. Its structural style is very unique, reputed as the lord of Tibetan stupas.

Lake Namtso
Continue the trip to visit Namtso Lake which is a “Heavenly Lake”. It is considered one of the three holy lakes in Tibet. Namtso is famous for its high altitude (4720 meters), vast area (1961 square kilometers) and beautiful scenery. After have Chinese Lunch at local restaurant, go to enjoy Yangpachen, which is known for its hot spring and is a nice choice for people to look at the Tibetan herders and their lifestyle.

How to avoid altitude sickness.
In general, most healthy people will experience altitude sickness when travel into Tibet for at least two days. People will get sick and headache when in altitude over 3,000 meters (9,843 feet) is usually defined as high altitude. Since most places in Tibet are higher than this level, Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS), also called Altitude Sickness is the biggest health risk to tourists in Tibet. Lhasa sits at a heady 3,650 meters (11,500 feet), and it is one of the lower altitude destinations in Tibet. We suggest prepare far enough in advance before the trip by some aerobic exercise and a thorough physical examination is necessary.
