After breakfast, we will visit the world famous attraction, Potala Palace. Situated on the Red Hill of Lhasa, Potala Palace is the highest ancient palace in the world. It was the chief residence for Dalai Lamas and enjoyed a great reputation in architecture. After lunch, there is a visit to Jokhang Temple and the Barkhor Street around the temple. Enjoying the same fame with Potala, Jokhang Temple is the most celebrated temple in Tibet. It is the spiritual center of Tibetans. Around Jokhang Temple is the ancient Barkhor Street. It is a popular devotional circumambulation for pilgrims and locals. Barkhor Street, often called the “window of Tibet” is famous for its shopping. You’ll find characteristic Tibetan shops one by one.

Today we’ll visit the main attractions in Nyingchi. After breakfast, visit Lulang Forest Area. With an attitude of 3700 meters, Lulang Forest is located by the Sichuan-Tibet Highway about 80km from Nyingchi Town. It is a typical mountain meadow narrow strip land with a length of 15 kilometers and an average width of 1 kilometer. In summer, the whole area will be covered by flowers. After lunch, continue our tour to the Gigantic Cypress Wood Forest. In-between Bayi Town and Nyingchi County, there is a wood of giant cypress trees. Among these cypress trees, one is 46 meters tall and is about 2000-2500 years old by inference and is respected as the sacred tree by the local people. After 2 hours’ visit, our tour guide and driver will escort you from Nyingchi to Lhasa.

Cars and Drivers
We only use well-maintain air-conditioning and comfortable vehicles (not over 5 years) that suitable for sort of small group of 2-4 persons or group over 5 persons. Our divers can speak few English for simple communication, they are all over 5 years driving experience and well-training at deal with unpredictable weather and traffic situation.

What things in China are best suited to children?
There are many things to do with children in China. How to avoid altitude sickness.
In general, most healthy people will experience altitude sickness when travel into Tibet for at least two days. People will get sick and headache when in altitude over 3,000 meters (9,843 feet) is usually defined as high altitude. Since most places in Tibet are higher than this level, Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS), also called Altitude Sickness is the biggest health risk to tourists in Tibet. Lhasa sits at a heady 3,650 meters (11,500 feet), and it is one of the lower altitude destinations in Tibet. We suggest prepare far enough in advance before the trip by some aerobic exercise and a thorough physical examination is necessary.
